Hike to Laguna de los Tres
Hotel El Chaltén → Laguna Capri → Camp. Poincenot → Laguna de los Tres
Meet the guide at the hotel in the morning. We begin the trek and after 4 km we reach Laguna Capri, where we'll get our first views of the Fitz Roy massif. We continue 4 km further to Poincenot Camp. From there, we ascend a steep 2 km trail with 500 m elevation gain to Laguna de los Tres, at the foot of Mount Fitz Roy. After enjoying the views, we return to Poincenot Camp where we'll spend the night. From the campsite we have the best sunset views just steps from our domes.
Hike to Laguna Torre
Camp. Poincenot → Lagunas Madre e Hija → Laguna Torre → El Chaltén
After breakfast we begin the trek along the Madre e Hija Lagoons trail, which connects us to the Cerro Torre Valley. We continue until we reach Laguna Torre, where we enjoy incredible views of one of Patagonia's most iconic mountains: Cerro Torre. In the afternoon we head back to the town of El Chaltén.
