Everything you need to know

No technical experience is required. The difficulty level is moderate and the trails are within Los Glaciares National Park. Our certified guides adjust the pace to the group.

We offer two programs: a 2-day / 1-night and a 3-day / 2-night option. Both connect the Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre valleys with accommodation at exclusive campsites within the National Park.

Certified bilingual trekking guide (Spanish/English), accommodation at Patagonia Summit stable campsites, full board (all meals and non-alcoholic beverages), safety equipment with first aid kit and satellite communication, National Park permit management, and a pre-trek briefing.

Transport to El Chaltén (optional from El Calafate), tips, and personal expenses.

The campsites feature 4-season tents with double doors, 7 cm mattresses, and thermal sleeping bags rated to -10°C with liner. There is also a 5 m dining dome with wooden deck flooring, thermal insulation, windows with mountain views, and gas heating. A fully equipped 4 m kitchen dome and dry eco bathrooms with automatic waste separation.

The season runs from October to April. Regular departures are on Tuesdays and Fridays, with a minimum of 2 passengers per departure.

El Chaltén is accessed by road from El Calafate (approximately 3 hours). Transport is not included but we can arrange the transfer as an optional service.

Patagonia has unpredictable weather. Our guides are local specialists with deep knowledge of the climate and park conditions. The campsites are built to withstand Patagonian conditions with 4-season tents and heated domes. In extreme conditions, guides adjust the itinerary prioritizing safety.

The guides are local trekking and mountain specialists, trained in safety, environmental interpretation, and knowledge of flora, fauna, geology, and glaciology. For technical activities such as climbing, UIAGM-certified high mountain guides with specialized equipment are available.
